Ronit Meranda is a filmmaker, video editor and former artist working in Bristol and London.

Her background in video art passionately informs her work, lending an approach that allows / makes space for experimentation both in visuals and in narrative structure.

Her first short fiction film, Honeymoon (2016) is now distributed by NQV Media, after being screened at over twenty festivals around the world, including Encounters Short Film Festival, BFI Flare: London LGBTQ+ Film Festival, Cork Film Festival and BBC See Hear.

Her short fiction script Funeral of a Marriage Counsellor, was a finalist at the IMDB Script to Screen Awards 2016. Her short animation Pigeons, All!, was shortlisted for The Pitch Competition 2018. And she was a Raising Films writer-in-residence in 2019 where she started developing her short comedy/drama Baa, Baa.

Her recent editing work includes the feature-length documentary Come Rain or Shine (2019) which premiered at Istanbul International Film Festival 2019 and is a featured film on MUBI.
