Artist Statement:

The everyday. The details, the trifles of the everyday. The ordinary, the incidental, the inconsequential. These are what my practice concerns, and consists of. Things that could be anywhere, anytime, but just happen to be on my way. My work is void of narrative, the images are uncertain, ambiguous, and in this sense are simultaneously problematic and therapeutic. Not burdened with the anchors of time or place, my work is free to invoke feelings of nostalgia and déjà vu.

Video, as a medium, is more than just the vehicle, more than just a means to an end. It is ever-present as an integral component of the work, so that audience are constantly reminded of what they are engaging with.
